Policy on Report Turn-Around Times

The legislative amendments implemented within the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) on September 1, 2010 included the removal of all mandated report turn-around timelines. It is imperative that although this statute has been omitted from the SABS, all Independent Evaluators performing Insurer’s Examinations for Dynamic Functional Solutions Inc. are required to continue to adhere to our expected timelines. These requirements are as follows:

• Evaluators are expected to submit all reports outlining findings for in-person evaluations within 5 business days from the date of evaluation.
• Evaluators are expected to submit all reports outlining findings for paper reviews within 3 business days from receipt of the medical file.

Evaluators working with Dynamic Functional Solutions Inc. must be mindful of these expectations when scheduling assessments, and only provide assessment dates if your report will be submitted within the requirements as outlined above.

Please note that if extenuating circumstances arise where you are not able to adhere to the expected timeframes noted above, please contact our office immediately.
